Arrion's New
Banana Bread

Ingredients:

3 C. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
2 C. banana

3/4 C. vege. oil
1/4 C. water
1 2/3 C. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten

1. Combine dry ingredients (first 4.)
2. Mash bananas
3. Mix oil, water, and eggs well. Add sugar.
4. Fold in half the flour mixture and half the bananas. Mix until blended. Add remaining flour and bananas. Mix only until combined (don't over mix.)
5. Pour into pre-greased/floured pans.
6. Bake ~1 hour in preheated oven at 350 degrees.
7. Cool slightly in pans, remove them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Makes 2 loaves

Banana Bread

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup banana pulp
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup sugar
2 well-beaten eggs

Sift flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Cream shortening well and beat into sugar. Add eggs, mix in well. Mash ripe bananas as soon as peeled with silver fork. 3-4 ripe bananas yield 1 cup. Add flour alternately with bananas mixing well after each addition. Turn into greased loaf pan and bake in (350 degrees F) 1 hour or until done. 8x4x3

Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients & Instructions

Combine these five ingredients:
3 1/2 C. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Combine these ingredients: 
3 C. granulated sugar
1 C. vege oil
4 eggs
2/3 C. water
2 C. canned pumpkin (1 15oz can)

1. Combine dry ingredients (first 5.)
2. Mix oil, water, and eggs well. Add sugar.
3 . Fold in half the flour mixture and half the pumpkin. Mix until blended. Add remaining flour and pumpkin. Mix only until combined (don't over mix.)
5. Pour into pre-greased/floured pans.
6. Bake ~1 hour in preheated oven at 350 degrees.
7. Cool slightly in pans, remove them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Makes 2 loaves
