Ingri & Edgar Parin d'Aulaire

Edgar Parin d'Aulaire, an Italian and Ingri Mortenson, a Norwegian met at art school in Munich. They married and shortly thereafter moved to the United States. Ingri and Edgar Parin d'Aulaire are the authors and illustrators of the Caldecott medal book Abraham Lincoln.
