Internet Resources for World Languages

Language is an essential tool of communication. Although Spanish, French, and German are the most popular languages other than English taught in North American schools, many other language from Japanese to American Sign Language are growing in popularity. Students love learning about the languages and people of other cultures. Use language and technology as a way to connect with other cultures. For example, epals provides email connections for students with a built-in language translator that helps students from a dozen different languages communicate.
